Refund Policy

Our Commitment At Our Safe Space Center, we strive to provide valuable and enriching experiences for our community. We understand that plans can change, and our goal is to offer a refund policy that is both fair to you and supportive of our non-profit organization's sustainability. This policy outlines the terms for refunds, cancellations, and credits across our various offerings.

Please read the specific policy for the type of purchase you have made.

1. Donations As a small business, we are deeply grateful for your support. Donations made to Our Safe Space Center are considered final gifts and are non-refundable. Your contributions are put to use immediately to fund our programs and support our mission. If you have made an error in making your donation, please contact us within 24 hours.

2. Workshops & Multi-Session Series (Mental Matters) These events require advance planning and often have limited spots. Therefore, we adhere to the following tiered refund policy:

  • Cancellation 14 or more days before the start date: You are eligible for a full refund to your original method of payment unless otherwise stated on the ticketing site.

  • Cancellation between 7 and 13 days before the start date: You will receive a credit equal to the amount paid, which can be used for a future workshop or class within six (6) months. No cash refund will be issued.

  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the start date: No refund or credit will be issued. This is because late cancellations prevent others from being able to attend and we cannot recover the associated costs.

3. Single Drop-In Classes (Pole & Dance Studio) This policy applies to both in-person pop-up classes and live virtual drop-in classes.

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before the class start time: You may request  a credit to be used for another drop-in class.

  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the class start time: The class fee is forfeited, and no credit will be available. This policy helps us manage class sizes and fairly compensate our instructors.

4. Virtual Class Subscriptions (Pole & Dance Studio) For recurring monthly or annual subscriptions to our virtual class library:

  • Subscriptions are billed automatically at the start of each billing cycle (monthly or annually).

  • Payments for the current billing period are non-refundable.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. To do so, please log into your account or contact us directly. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your next scheduled billing date to avoid being charged for the next period. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of your current paid billing period.

5. Event & Showcase Tickets (Thorn the Plushie Ent.) Due to the significant costs associated with producing live and virtual showcases (including venue, performer, and technical fees), all ticket sales for events produced by Thorn the Plushie Ent. are final and non-refundable.

  • Event Cancellation by Us: In the unlikely event that a showcase is canceled by Our Safe Space Center, all ticket holders will be notified and will receive a full refund to their original method of payment.

How to Request a Refund or Credit To request a refund or credit in accordance with the policies above, please email us at oursafespacecenter@gmail.com.

In your email, please include:

  • Your full name

  • The date of your purchase

  • Your order or registration number

  • The name of the class, workshop, or event you are canceling

Processing Time Please allow 5-10 business days for us to process your request and for the refund to appear in your account.
